Terrell State Hospital is a 272 bed, JCAHO accredited and Medicare certified, psychiatric inpatient hospital operated under the direction of the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).  The hospital, located in Terrell, is responsible for providing services for individuals with mental illnesses residing within a 22 county, 14,622 square mile service region, with a population of over 3 million.

Our 32-bed residential program provides a safe therapeutic environment with room and board, dual diagnosis classes, recovery and relapse prevention components, counseling and case management. The focus is on assisting clients to manage themselves in the community. Average stay: 30-45 days.
Vocational Program
This program equips clients for successful job search and productive activity in the community.

Whether an individual requires immediate crisis intervention & emergency care or routine assessment and outpatient treatment, Baylor All Saints' team of highly qualified mental health professionals is on-call 24 hours a day.
Our treatment programs are tailored to each patient and successfully combine medical, biopsychiatric and cognitive group therapy to help patients and his/her family change unhealthy behaviors. One thing about autistic kids is the fact that they are far from stupid. My grandson learned to manipulate the family. By being sent to Boles, it broke that cycle. Those people are professionals; kids do NOT manipulate them! The Christian values they are taught sticks with them the rest of their lives.This is one terrific place.  Lucinda
